Voltaic Backpack

the voltaic backpack is a bag with a solar panel and a Li-ion battery so when you're walking around in the sunshine, the bag's battery gets charged, which in turn charges all the devices you've got in it. last night i took a fucking powerboard to uni to make sure i could get power to all my devices. this wouldn't be a solution in that scenario, but it just shows how much people need power these days. the solar panels and battery pack weigh less than one pound (about 400g?). i want one! pre-orders are being taken for US$229. strange, they're going into winter now.
